Welcome to summer and the final leg of our phase3
programme. If you click on the image on the right here
you will get a full update on building progress.
We are delighted and proud to announce that phase3 will be
opened in November by the internationally celebrated choreographer
and dancer Akram
Khan. Akram will be the first artist to live and work in our
new space and on 12th and 13th November will give two very special
preview performances of his new solo show which we have
co-commissioned with Sadler’s Wells theatre. There are limited
tickets available for these performances from our box office
and we know they will sell out quickly so we have put some on
sale in advance. Don’t miss the chance to see this extraordinary
performer supported by top class international musicians up close
at The Point.
We’ve also launched our Squarefooters
campaign and invite you to help us to support the work of
exciting young artists by sponsoring a square foot of floor in the
new space.
In the meantime do come and enjoy our summer theatre dance
and music offerings. There’s something for everyone and while we’re
all feeling the pinch our ticket prices are staying low.
