Lone Twin Theatre present The
Catastrophe Trilogy. Alice Bell, Daniel Hit By A Train and
an as yet untitled third work share a common playful interest in
the act of storytelling they are touching, comic and resolutely
hopeful. Come to one, two, or all three – but do come
to this truly unique collection by an
ever-surprising international ensemble.

Alice
Bell at 2.30pm
A fictional character born into a
fictional conflict, Alice seeks happiness in a divided land,
finding love and companionship but at a terrible cost. Part
DIYmusical, part fairy-tale, Alice Bell offers a portrait
of life as an act of hope, life as something to sing and dance
about.
Daniel
Hit By A Train at 5.00pm
Inspired by a Victorian collection of
53 true stories about people losing their lives in the act of
saving another, Daniel Hit By A Train tells each tragedy
in turn, in all their comedic, vaudevillian glory. Sincere but
unafraid to raise a smile to these most selfless of souls
Daniel Hit By A Train stands as a testimony to our abiding
need to help each other.
The
Festival at 7.30pm
The Festival is a love story told
against a backdrop of the here and now. Recent public events cause
a series of coincidences to alter a discrete private world to
devastating effect. As two lives cross at a festival of music
and song a love story emerges that neither party can control or
predict. The Festival speaks of a moment in a quiet life
when suddenly all is changed, when a silent world begins to
sing.
