Lîla Dance
Led by Abi Mortimer and Carrie Whittaker, graduates of the MA
in choreography at Chichester University, Lîla Dance has been a
creative associate of The Point since 2006. In that time they have
built an impressive repertoire of innovative small-scale dance
works and have had a major impact on our participatory programmes
with their skilled teaching, workshop facilitation and community
choreography. They have performed twice in Resolution!
at The Place Theatre and invited to take part in its renowned
Choreodrome programme for two years running.
They have recently just finished a residency at The Point
using our new creation space with Italian choreographer Simona
Bertozzi. The new work, Agon, will premiere at The Point this
spring.
