The Point Young People's Theatre, Feet First Youth Dance Company
and Norwood Primary School present
Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass
by Lewis Carroll
On a glorious
summer’s afternoon, young Alice happens upon a smartly dressed
rabbit looking at his watch and muttering, “I’m too late!” This
being an unexpected occurrence, she follows him down a nearby
rabbit hole and falls into Wonderland.
Lewis Carroll’s timeless children’s stories
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the
Looking Glass and What Alice Found There are
magically brought to life in this adaptation by Adrian
Mitchell.
This exciting new production is the second
collaboration between The Point’s theatre and dance teams
after the sell out production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream
at Netley Abbey last year. Performed on The Point’s main stage this
captivating production will combine stunning design with dynamic
performance and innovative choreography from The Point’s creative
associate Lîla Dance.
Bringing together approximately 80 young
actors and dancers from around Eastleigh borough this enchanting
story is sure to capture the imagination and transport you to a
magical world where anything could happen and things get
“curiouser and curiouser.”
