Guitarist, composer & French Gypsy Ritary Gaguenetti, was born in
1978 & began playing at 14, learning from his father, but is
basically self taught, much influenced by the Dutch gypsy style. He
is a quietly outstanding virtuoso musician with a style that is
smooth and melodious, clean and precise. His versatility
encompasses both funk and R&B, and his main influences are
Django Reinhardt, George Benson, Stochelo Rosenberg and Joe Pass.
With several varied CDS under his belt, he has toured Europe, USA
and Canda to rapturous welcomes.
Herve Gaguenetti
(rhythm guitar) is cousin to Ritary and shares Django's
birthday - January 23rd. A crowd pleaser, highly loved and
respected, he portrays as much through his masterful rhythm playing
as any great soloist. His idol is of course Django, which clearly
shows in his emotional, sensitive, powerful playing that is is the
faultless heartbeat of the band.
Vladimir Torres
(bass) was born in 1979 and learned classical violin,
saxophone, electric bass as well as double bass. His powerful
playing seeks out the best of his instrument. A self taught
musician, coming from a South American music tradition, he tries to
mix all his cultural influences in his work.
Christophe Panzani
(saxophone) was classically trained but grew up on Stan
Getz, Coleman Hawkins and Sonny Rollins. A player of humour and
versatility that leaves his audiences enthralled.
